You know what I just adore?

When someone, in the course of bitching someone else out, does exactly the thing that they’re bitching the other person out for.  Like the person who goes all ad hominem in the middle of a rant about somebody else’s ad hominem.  Or when someone who doesn’t know what in the world they’re talking about talks about how sad it is that other people don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.  You know, the whole, “wow, you’re dumb if you think this because *insert something at least as dumb*” thing.  Like, “I can’t believe John thinks grass is purple!  Anybody who pays any attention at all knows it’s really black.”

I’ve been reading too many blogs again, haven’t I?

  1. I hate it when people blog about other people vaguely. I’m gonna go blog about you right now, vaguely.

Haha, just kidding. You see what I did there? I’m a genius.

  2. Deb, I know exactly what you mean. It’s a more-than-just-randomly common occurrence in the blogosphere. And those who do it, seem drawn to it like moth to candle flame.

As some psychologist (I forget just who) once put it, “We become what we hate.”
