We Can Has Powwer?
That was fun. It completely freaks Sadie for the power to be out. It’s worse given a day when you can’t see in the house without all the lights on.
At 3-something we woke to the sound of UPS beeping. We shut down the four of them and went back to bed. It’s amazing the difference in light level just from the last two or three LCD indicators powered by the last UPS to go.
Just before 7:00, I woke up, went to the bathroom, then started a pot of coffee before going back to bed. An hour later the still-hot coffee was a bright spot in a highly traumatic morning, featuring a screaming Valerie (she’s getting the last molars) and a disconcerted but mostly calm Sadie, then a chiming in Henry, while Deb tried to grab a cup and drink it while it remained hot.
After a bit, the power flicked on for seconds, ending at the same time a loud boom could be heard from the general direction of the power plant. Probably coincidence, but that naturally inspired fears of now power for days. Yay for it returning for real not long later!
When this happens, I’m not sure whether I appreciate the Blackberry, or feel teased by it.
Poor Val........My oldest almsot 11 is getting her 12 year molars, and MAN i forgot the pain they go through, the swollen (LUMP) gums, the poor thing is living off motrin and only ONE has protruded through, she still has three more not to boot she’s like 2 years EARLY....
i feel you guys pain on this end, mine can just explain it more than poor little Val.
If you’ve ever heard of hurricane gel. IT"S WONDERFUL STUFF. it’s got 20% benzacane much more than the others over the counter and my kids used to point to it and then point to gums.
It’s sorta expensive but where you guys have 3 kids gonna all be teething (molars, firsts) you might want to think about it. My kids liked cherry.
