Unsurprised

That is was Phil and Chris, rather than Lakisha and Chris.  It was always something of a tossup.  The surprising part is going from Phil Hater to knowing his will be one of our more likely album purchases from the eventual output of this crew.  That’s along with Blake, Gina, and dependng what they do with her, Jordin.

After an earlier part of the season that could be called boring, the final four aren’t really less interesting than last year’s, and any of them might make a credible winner - if of varying image and marketability, with the best singer technically arguably the least marketable.
