Tricksy Spammers

I just closed comments on this post because our clever friends in Romania can’t leave it alone.

They search for posts that mention something like “drugstore” and have the words associated with a captcha, using SEO tools so they’re ordered by page rank, then enter spam comments by hand.  Clever, human sounding ones, but still spam, and still found to be deleted when they come back to check from the link in their Google spreadsheet of all the damn things.

If they weren’t spammers, I’d admire them.  Sorry guys.  You want a link here, I might let you pay for one, but no free ride for sure.

1. I’m running Spam Karma and the one that comes with word press and have all but eliminated them.
   and you don’t have to type a word in to comment.
   at least not yet.
