Timing is Everything

You expect web hosting to be imperfect, to varying degrees depending on the details.

What’s bad it when the wrong thing goes down at the wrong time.  What’s bad is when it goes through a phase of being chronic, even to where it’s a predictable time range each day.

One of the hosting accounts has the was gonna be the business geekpractitioners.com, the replacement of that, welcometohelp.com, Deb’s neatlytangled.com blog related to her business - selling stuff people might want to buy for Christmas, ahem, right before Christmas, the CotC site, bizosphere.com, and streamalum.com, used for a mailing list of former colleagues and prospectively a site for a superset of those and a LinkedIn group.  In short, that’s mainly hosting to business and professional ends.  It was the reliable one, too.  Just in time for Christmas sales and e-mail from customers for Deb, and potential e-mail from customers for me, it has started going down hard for a while in the late morning.

I do hope they fix it soon.
