There is no comparison.
We recently got a search for, and I quote exactly, “compare and contrast starbucks and Dunkin doughnuts.”
They aren’t even from the same planet.
Starbucks comes from a world full of hostile, hundred-legged aliens who grew warlike from being too damned hot all the time because their planet is too close to its star. Which explains why they favor over-roasted, bitter coffee. They have no real choice. Plus, it puts them in lousy moods, perfect for fueling their hobby of blowing shit up for no good reason. If only they’d blown up the source of those beans…
Dunkin’s coffee, OTOH, proves that there is a God and He loves us.
The end.
LOL..
I do have to say that I like Starbucks expresso drinks. Cafe Mocha’s are awesome and really great if you need an extra boost. Although they are fatning as heck. For plain old coffee though you just can’t beat DD’s. Also you can’t afford to drink Sbux all the time..LOLPosted by wayne on 03/22 at 11:51 AM from ohioAt a starbucks, I will get a mocha frapicino and a slice of the lemon poundcake…
I avoid DD’s because I’d gain about 300 more lbs from eating waaaay to many yummy donuts. (DD’s makes donuts, Krispy Kreme makes sugar coated paper...I want a donut with some heft to it.)As for the coffee, I’ve often said this about coffee...Nothing could taste as good as the promise of coffee’s aroma, the smell of coffee promises ambrosia, and you know that will never be something you taste..but when you actually drink coffee, the taste is so different from the smells promise, so horrid. You know, god exists, and he has a nasty sense of humor.

Posted by caltechgirl on 03/22 at 01:57 PM fromDD coffee is good - and we have a big bag of it in our freezer!
There’s finally going to be a DD within about ten minutes (providing we don’t get lost and drive around an extra hour) from our new apt!
