The Eyes Have It

Sometimes I wake up in the morning with what feels like welding flash, barely able to see out of my right eye, which is the good one.  It goes away in anything from an hour to all day.  It’s unusually bad today.

This time it seems to be going hand in hand with a marathon nose, watering eyes and stuffy head, and around my eyes is puffed up as if it’s allergies.  Weird.

The worst part of the eye thing is how hard it makes using a computer.  Driving can be interesting, too, though that also seems to encourage it to go away quickly.  Not always.

Anyway, it may be some kind of hay fever or dust thing today, but I wonder what it normally is.  It always comes on in my sleep.  Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with it, then go back to sleep and it’s fine in the morning.
