The Excitement!

Sadie is so excited about her birthday Saturday!  I just asked what she wanted for her birthday and she said “cake.” Then she went on to regale me with “I put two blue candles on my birthday cake.” I explained to her that there would be three, because she is turning three, but she stuck with two, which I surmised to her is because it rhymes.

She went to the store with me when I picked up decorating stuff, and was all excited that they had boxes of blue candles.  We also got a tube of blue, and she picked a tube of red, so unless we decorate heavily with candy or something, it’ll look like she was born on July 4th.

She also requested lemon cake, so that’s what we’re making.

1. Wow, she’s turning 3. Time sure flies. Tell her I said “Happy Birthday!”.

   oh and what a coincidence… my wife is throwing me a birthday party this Saturday also. (except I’m MUCH older than 3, LOL!)
