Snow Meltdown and Happy Val

These are from several days ago, when we had a few inches of snow, followed by a lot of rain, making shoveling moot.  Deb took Sadie out to check out the snow, as unlike last winter she loves snow.  Unexpectedly, she grew obsessed with shoveling and refused to come inside, even as she turned bright red and shivered.  She was mad!  When we got her in, she defiantly ran all the way to the other end of the house, to our bedroom.

Then Valerie woke up (hungry), which helped make things right with the world for Sadie.

As always, click for larger, which is especially a good idea on the crib monkeys picture.

  1. One thing with living in Houston.  You will eventually start missing snow.  Of course, that’s why you visit family in the winter!
