Sadness Is…

Figuring out you just won’t have the money for that other drive, no matter how relatively inexpensive.

Not being able to install Vista, or anything, on the new computer because it requires a USB keyboard.  I’ll probably do errands tomorrow and include fetching one.  I was going to do that while Valerie was napping yesterday, Harry Potter hangover day when I had a brain cloud (more so than I’ve tended to as a matter of course lately) and couldn’t begin to write or edit web (as opposed to blog) content.

Having the server that hosts the blog struggle to stay up and reachable more regularly than one might normally expect.  Last time it was another blog on the same server having been discovered and pounded by MSM and whoever, so it was a matter of waiting it out a couple days, but this has been cropping up regulary now for months.

When bloggers and people close to them die, which eclipses all of the above.

Long time blogger Mike Hendrix, one of the early ones I was familiar with around the time I started, lost his wife, Christiana Hendrix in a motorcycle accident.  She was Deb’s age.

Dean reports that Scott Evensen, better known as Plunge, has died at 39, following heart problems.  I exchanged e-mail with Plunge at one point, and read his blog a bit when it was new.

Rest in peace, and please let’s not make this one of those times when deaths come in threes.
