Sadie is trying to take the quirky title back from her father.

So I was just in the kitchen, cutting little slivers of nectarine for the baby to eat, handing out cheerios, and cetera, and the child brings me her apple to peel.  (Valerie has developed a thing about apple peels, and apparently Sadie thought that a peeled apple would be So. Cool. that she had to have one, too).  So I start to peel it with the knife I have in my hand and she’s all, “No! Do not peel it with a knife...” (Yes, she really talks like that!) I ask her what to peel it with and she tells me, “the other thing that’s in one of the drawers.” Apparently when Jay makes applesauce he peels the apples with the peeler, because he’s way smarter than I am, lol.  I always use a knife because that’s what I always use, you know?  Anyway, apparently apples may only be peeled with peelers in Sadie-land, so they were and all is now right with the world.

The child is going to be a huge geek. 

1. Too Funny!!  Josh is getting nuts about the peel on everything now a days, if I don’t peel something for him, he chews it off and spits it all over the place!!  He does not care how I do it however!! LOL!!
