Rosetta Code
Via e-mail, via Slashdot, something very cool that reminds me of one of the things I liked about reading Code Complete, even though it was limited and incidental to the book:
It’s a wiki-based site where you can lookup how to do particular programming tasks comparatively, in both familiar and unfamiliar languages.
It can be as extensive as an entire collection of control structures, or as specific as how to do the equivalent of VB’s IsNumeric function in several other languages.
It’s new enough to be limited yet, but it’s a brilliant idea.
