Poor Sadie
Apparently she sleeps like me. Which means she needs a new bed.
Right now she is in a toddler bed with a crib-size mattress. In fact, her crib mattress, and we bought a new one for Valerie.
She roams all over the bed… and off of it… in her sleep, and seems to be getting poor quality sleep as a result. That’s not right. And she is getting big and looking increasingly like a kid, not even so much a toddler. Heh. She’s learning how to reach just about anything by climbing appropriately.
So that’s on the short list for Real Soon Now. We’ll just get a cheap mattress and box spring somewhere like BJ’s. That’ll be about the right height. The toddler bed can go aside for when Val needs it. Then it’s probably inevitable we’ll get bed frames that can be bunked if needed, when they’re big enough. But we’ll see. For now we’ll just worry about adequate sleep without getting fancy.
We got our daughters at Building 19 in Hanover, it’s a hike for you, but it was cheap enough and to tell you the truth it’s SO MUCH MORE comfortable than the one we bought at a mattress store for my oldest.
