Please, somebody, MAKE IT STOP!

We are now on Day 7 of The Virus That Wouldn’t Die.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Perhaps I should name it Khan and call myself Kirk.

Sadie was just fine all day yesterday.  Finally.  And she slept until 8 this morning.  Woo-hoo!  The she woke up and threw up.  Again.  And now she’s got other digestive issues.  Again.

I have Officially Reached The Limits Of My Patience With This Thing.

Officially.

  1. i heard on the news that this is the single most infectious Norovirus EVER studied going around, so you are probably giving it back to yourselves.

Handwashing, sanitizing, etc. are key to getting rid of this.  And maybe rubber gloves for diaper changes?

  2. Trust me, I know how to sterilize.  I’ve been cleaning like a madwoman.  A five-months pregnant, also sick madwoman, but Mr. Bleach and Mr. Hot Water and Mr. Dishwasher-on-the-Extra-Hot-Cycle have been getting a workout.  Ask my bleeding hands about it.

  3. Maybe the vector are the toys? You might have to soak them in a bleach solution, and wash all stuffed animals to get rid of the horrid thing.

What killed all the dino toys?  They bleached to death.  wink

Good luck and get well soon!

  4. Sorry you all feel so horrible!I was sick last week with same old thing of cold, sore throat which I’ve had for 3 months on and off but thank you God I have not got whatever has hit all of you. Yes, you would think by now it would be over.

Hope you all will be feeling better quickly!

  5. I was thinking the same thing.  Toys, doorknobs, keyboard, crib, changing table, highchair, etc…

Poor you Deb.  I can’t imagine how much this sucks.  I hope this goes away soon!

  6. She seems better tonight...I’m wondering if it’s just that it’s taking her longer to fight it off because she hasn’t met this type of bug before.  We’re bleaching the heck out of everything that can take it anyway.  It would have been nice if the weather had cooperated and we could have kept the house open, but being as how New England in April looks like Fresno in February half the time, no such luck.  Sheesh.

It’s definitely been an...adventure.  LOL.  Thanks, all.
