Mmmm… Coffee
Deb took the liberty of making a third pot of coffee.
How could she do this when we were out?
Because we had backup. In the course of building a restaurant, my brother-in-law got some samples of whole bean coffee of various varieties. The company gave them to the restaurant in hopes of making a sale. They got passed along to us and have been waiting in the cabinet. I have actually had some of this company’s coffee before, as the former client uses it. It’s decent stuff.
Deb opened the Sumatra variety, ground and brewed it, then opened the office door so I could get a whiff. I went and grabbed a mug. It’s good. It has an almost caramel element to the flavor. I like our canned mass market brand, but it’s a good substitute.
I think I may be fully derailed from getting real work done for the day, but this has been a good practice day in the “can I really work from home” department. Despite the kids being fairly wound up. They need a couple hours at a playground. Which reminds me I need to run to my mother’s house this evening. She has some produce she got insanely cheap to give us.
At least today I did get some stuff done that counts in the “generate money” department. That has to stop happening in fits and starts.
