Madeleine Washburn Ellis

My grandmother would have been 96 today, an age not unprecedented in parts of the families.  I seem to recall her sister was nearly that old when she died several years ago.

Sadly, she died almost immediately after turning 65, in spring of 1976, right at the point when she had come out of her shell and was perhaps having the most fun of her life.
