I Suppose It’s An Improvement

Instead of being unable to sleep during the night, to wake up too early - by current standards and what time I went to sleep - and be unable to fall back to sleep.  This is how sleep schedule resets happen.  At least it was 7:00 and not 5:00.

Speaking of which, the other day I realized something akin to the steering wheel connection to what is apparently contact dermatitis on my hands.  The darkest area of skin on my forehead, adjacent to my eyes, corresponds exactly to where there is pressure when I sleep.  Depending on the exact position, my head tends to rest on one of my arms on one side or the other.  When I slept a bit differently (the way I sleep now essentially eliminates snoring), there would still be pressure there, even if it was only from the pillow.  It kind of like freckles meet liver spots meet bed sores.

And speaking of the contact dermatitis, cooks and people with babies and small childred are more prone to it…
