Heroes

We’re all looking forward to the return of Heroes, right?  Of course we are!  And there are certain questions we just can’t wait to see addressed.

Why are cockroaches so significant?
Just how evil is Ma Petrelli?  What is her power?  Does it have something to do with being undead, or cockroaches?
Who is it that’s worse than Sylar. and in what ways?  What role did that person play in Sylar’s survival?
Some of the people we met who didn’t manifest powers on screen allegedly have them.  Who and what?
What exactly happened with Peter and Nathan?  They will be in this season, so presumably survived… or will they appear only in flashbacks or alternate timelines?  I can easily see them having survived.

We’ve rewatched the first few episodes of the first season, and the unaired pilot, the use of which would have rendered the show much more ordinary in quality and storyline.  What’s remarkable is how much of the original pilot was identical footage.

I’m probably forgetting some points.  Naturally we’re looking forward to Hiro’s trip back in time and the encounter with his immortal father there.  That should start it off with a bang, assuming they pick right up from there in the first episode.

1. Only show I’m really interested in watching.
   I’ll be setting the DVR to record it every week so I can watch it when its convenient.  I’ll be working though at least the first couple of shows.

2. Heroes is definitely my favorite show on Broadcast TV.
