Because really?  The poor kid is put-upon enough, having two older sisters.

He’ll be two months old on Saturday, and today he was 13 pounds 1 ounce and 23 1/2 inches, putting him at the 80th and 75th percentiles respectively.  First shots today, so he’s sleeping that off at the moment.  Poor thing.

He seems huge to me, and compared to the girls, he is.  Sadie at 2 months was 10 lbs 11 oz (13lb 14 oz at 4 months) and Val was 10 lbs 9 oz at 2 months (and 13lbs 10 oz at *6* months).

He’s the happiest baby I’ve ever seen.  He’ll sit and oooh and goo at you for as long as you’re willing to talk to him.  He sleeps well, managing at least a five hour stretch almost every night, and more and more often a 6 or 7 hour one.

He’s got that weird little baby monk-hair thing going on, with the thick fringe at the bottom, the much thinner layer on top, and the no-hair-at-all strip around the sides and back where his head rubs against whatever he’s laying on.  I’ll have to get a picture.  It’s ridiculously cute.

He looks just like his father, which is also ridiculously cute.

2. Do you remember the Runner family in Owatonna?  They had 7 girls before the boy came along.  Talk about torture....
