What’s the ultimate reason for the Second Amendment?

To protect ourselves from and reboot the government if necessary.  As opposed to mere self-defense from each other and all that.

Where is the seat of government in this country?

DC.

Where are guns perhaps more stringently banned controlled than anywhere else in the country, in clear contravention of the Constitution?

DC.
