Googling a Prospective Blog Name

And not finding anything out there, not even many instances of your newly coined word, apparently does not prevent another blog of the same name arising and appearing to have started before you.  Our theory is that either “appearing” is the operative word.  After all, you can start a blog and then import posts that are from prior dates.  Otherwise Google just plain hadn’t picked it up until more recently.  Sigh…

We did the due diligence, we own the domain, and neither of us is commercial so no big deal.  But damn, how far does one have to go to be unique and remain sure of it?
