Dinosaur!

I just gave Sadie two more dinosaurs.  See, I had a collection that included a T-rex, stegosaurus, and what I grew up calling brontosaurus, now known as apatosaurus, which I can never remember.  I got those at the same Vermont store as the famous warm socks.  Along with them I had a rearing plastic triceratops, origin unknown.

A while back, I gave Sadie the T-rex and the triceratops, which she thought were just the coolest things ever and continues to play with avidly.

I just gave her the other two, which were my favorites and extremely cute.  It made her day.

So she lined them all up on the coffee table and said “dinosaur!” Or maybe it was plural.  The middle syllable was week, but it was perfectly clear otherwise.  I don’t think she’s ever come out with a word of more than two syllables before, so I was all excited.
