Digital Jammer

So I got the HP Digital Sender 9200 setup today, which ended up being remarkably easy once I chose to skip using LDAP or Windows authentication.

I tested sending to a folder once.  It worked great, scanning in the blink of an eye and doing as instructed.

Then it jammed when testing send to e-mail.  And jammed and jammed, each and every time a paper went through ever again.  This is not good.  It gives credence to my initial reaction to the construction of the part of the ADF (automatic document feeder) that is against the glass, which seems and seemed weird and rather flimsy.  The paper is supposed to slide out between two pieces of white plastic, but catches instead.

Still have to look that up and see if HP has anything useful, but jeez.

  2. I feel that way about HP computers and now cameras, but I’ve always been more than happy with their printers.  The Digital Sender has more in common with printers than the other products.
