Dammit!

The time on my entries is off again!  I fixed that just days ago.  There is no freaking reason for it to change itself.

WTF, over?

It has to be a time change on the server or something.  Let’s see…

Or not.  My user account had the correct time zone and DST turned off.  Master localization settings had DST turned on, but also had turned on and apparently ignored a setting to allow individual settings to override the master DST settings.  So DST is now off, period.

Which brings me to the good/bad of timestamps changing retroactively.  Yay that the entries I just posted are now correct due to a settings change, but that means every entry I have ever posted also changed.  No.  If I post and it’s 8:30, that is when it was, period, forever.  I’d have been fine with it being correct going forward.
