Cold Fridge
Step 1: Put frozen 12 lb turkey in refrigerator to thaw for five days.
Step 2: Unwrap turkey and place in pan.
Step 3: Place turkey in oven at low temperature long enough to thaw so giblets can be removed.
Sheesh.

It was warm enough today to make me think of smoking the turkey over charcoal. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and we were able to eat the bird at 6 pm tonight, cooked in the oven indoors.
