Blargh
Earlier Deb asked me what my plans were for today, which for some reason made me think of Sister Mary Elephant, which was big when I was in 7th or 8th grade.
What I’d like to do is hang out and relax and try to get my back to stop hurting. Which it had, for about a day, before flaring up again. Silly back.
However, I promised a specific work task by the end of today, so that’s my priority. I also will mail or deliver cards, which requires buying stamps. I may but at this rate probably won’t get to the insurance agent to get paperwork to register the van. That was originally the toppermost agenda item for the day.
There’s also shopping to be done. Groceries, if nothing else.
It’s also about time to do my annual treat for the big client, which for a couple years has been homemade cookies, and prior to that has been big trays of mini-pastries from a local bakery. So I either need to go buy one of those - not necessarily today, but in the next couple - or do some baking. I’ve had kind of a lethargic urge to bake, but so far it’s been oxymoroned or ingredientlessed out of happening. Probably it’ll be the pastry tray copout. Which the people there won’t mind, as they love that stuff.
Time for more coffee in an effort to fuel my motivation…
"Then, I went downtown. To look for a job. Then I hung out in frunna the drugstore.”
