Before I Forget…

Congratulations to Laura Osnes and Max Crumm on winning the roles of Sandy and Danny in Grease!  We were thrilled that they won.  Laura was easy, but Max wasn’t so obvious and really brought us around after a while.

Of course, any of at least the last three or four of each sex could have done justice to the respective roles, which implies it was an excellent manner of training and casting.  There was something about Austin we never liked for Danny, though.  He was always obviously acting.  I can see him doing it.  I can see him going far in other roles; the Tom Cruise comparison was apt.

If we were the types to go to a broadway show, if we had that kind of money, if we had the wherewithal to just up and go to New York for the purpose, and if Deb weren’t going to be pregnant out to there this summer, we’d love to see the Grease production with Max and Laura.
