Barebones Resume
I created a concise, comprehensive resume (link is to Word document) and sent it to people for comment.
So far, those less technical love it, and those more technical thought it needed more mention of particular skills or details, to match what people would be looking for, and tend to encourage multiple versions.
I’d been thinking it might be a jumping off point for a more detailed, skills-oriented version, but that making myself write bare bones would be a useful exercise.
I found it hard to tell what type of position you were interested in fullfilling from that. However, as a barebones, it at least gives you a starting off point and it can certainly be tailored for a specific purpose.
