And In Other News…

As I mentioned, if in less detail than planned, Deb’s mother, brother, and sister-in-law were out for a whirlwind visit, unfortunately coinciding with much tummy sickness in our house.  Valerie never did get it beyond signs she might be fighting something off.  Sadie is just finally recovering.  I would probably be only just recovering had I not modulated things with Imodium so I could function.

They fly out at 3 PM and were maybe going to swing by here for an hour before leaving.

Deb’s mother and brother now have it.  Doh!  They think they can manage the flight, but ouch.  They’re skipping the final visit with the kids.  I suggested taking two Imodium and by doing so a couple hours before the flight it’d probably stop them up long enough to get across the country.  At least it works that way for me.

This is horrible, and exactly what we hoped wouldn’t happen.  It’s just not a trip that could be postponed, so we tried to make the best of it.
