Who never heard of Mr. Wizard until people started announcing his death?

2. I know who he was now that I think about it.
   He had that show where he would do science experiments with household stuff?
   Seems to me they ran his show on Nick in the early days.

3. I actually learned something of lasting value from watching his original show on Chicago television. He demonstrated testing the smell of a chemical by waving your thumb over the container and then smelling your thumb, much to the frustration of someone who had obtained a vial of some or another mercaptan.
