Jay: Apparently…
If I had bought a Mega Millions ticket, I would be writing a “still poor” post, since nobody won. The big prize, that is. Presumably there were some winners of $250,000, which I would happily take. That would get us completely out of debt and leave an okay downpayment on a house, or enough to get by comfortably for a year or so of starting a new business, even with no revenue, or of pursuing career change.
Wouldn’t it be fun to win the whole thing, though?

To my cousin’s daughter Susan. That makes her my first cousin once removed, because she is one generation removed from me, but second cousin to my kids, because they are the same generation, even though Susie turns 31 today.
